PICTURES In the past several years, the locals near my school have been exploring a small boulderfield located on a hill known as Grindstone Mountain. Over the past decade or so, local kids and weekend wariors cleaned of several of the boulders. But two years ago a troup of dedicated boulders from the area realized that Grindstone had more potential and it was a great place to catch an afternoon session. We began cleaning boulders left and right and several more gems were discovered. Though much of the climbing was contrived and chossy, a few classics were cleaned off. We began documenting the progress and eventually I released a video about the area and the progress made.
Unfortunately, access issued closed the field down and we have been forced to climb elsewhere.
