Pope in a Cowboy Hat V4 is one of the classic slab problems at Horse Pens. Here is a sequence of my friend Benni making the send on his third try. The feet are microscopic and there are no handholds until the crimp near the topout. This was an impressive send for Ben who is still a beginning boulderer, and it is one of the scariest problems at Horse Pens 40.

Here Ben snags the high crimp. By this time, falling is looking like a really good possibility, but it is quite a ways down to sloping ground.

Ease your foot up high left and rock it over. Ben fell once from here, it was an impressively smooth landing.
